Nurses Stress 101

Published

I seem to have gained 10 lbs since starting school in August and I'm not happy about it! I know part of it is that I haven't been able to fit in as much time as I like for exercise and I'm used to working on my feet at least half of the day and now I'm sitting in lecture or studying most of the time. ANY tips at all would be greatly appreciated!

My best tip is to eat less and exersise more.

I think you might have something there. ha ha.

I lost 60 pounds by just eating half as much as I used to. I ate whatever I wanted ( I was a teenager and didn't know better) but I just listened to my body and discovered real hunger cues again. I lost another 10 pounds when I switched to a vegetarian diet/ cut out "liquid sugar"/ and started exercising regularly.

I recommend stop eating process foods. Eat all natural foods like fruits, vegetables, beans, and rice. Limit your fatty foods. And excercise more!
