Any advice from anybody who managed to become military nurses. Please share to anyone who has aspirations to become military nurses what did they have to do to get in shape for the military.

You will need to work on your core strength and running. Depending which service you join will, depend on what there fitness test is. The Army does sit ups and the Navy does crunches, not sure what the AD does. Each service has their own run times and distance. Make sure your weight is within standards, you can be taped to make sure your body fat is within standards but it is just easier to be below the maximum weight for your height. Do a online search to find the standards.

As a former Sailor, all I can say is run, sit ups, push ups, repeat:)

I'm not a military nurse yet, but hope to be in the future. I am currently in the military. Key word---run. Build up that endurance. If you need a regiment to get you into shape and can't figure out your own fitness plan or can't afford a personal trainer, the Insanity program is good.
