I'm putting in a package. I am prior Navy enlisted and I miss the lifestyle. I go to MEPS this week, and I should be doing the interviews shortly after. I'm meeting with my recruiter this afternoon so maybe I can nail down some dates. I was going to apply NCP a few years ago and I did interviews for that. They were completely relaxed and we talked more about what they did at work and answered my questions. It wasn't too big of a deal because they're not the ultimate decision makers. Just relax and be yourself.

I just cleared MEPS. My recruiter also told me that they are anticipating accepting applications Sept. 10.

Niiiiice!! Im from Los Angeles btw. Im still waiting on the interview that my recruiter said should be coming up soon..so they accept applications by Sept but the board doesnt meet till about Oct right? I wonder what the numbers are this year..hopefully it isnt a repeat of last year lol

How's it going so far? I have one interview to go with a nurse, but everything I can submit has been submitted. I got credentialed as perioperative, so I'm very excited for that. I should knock out this interview either this week or early next week. My recruiter wants everything turned in by next Friday. I hope we hear that they will start accepting applications soon!

The Sept 10 is something new to me. I was told nothing for DA was going to be accepted until Oct 1. Either way, let's hope next FY is the opposite of this past one.

I agree. I just want to have all of this done, but I'm willing to play the game.

The first week in August is going to be the 2 year mark since I first contacted my recruiter. I had a BS medical delay and after everything was all submitted, I found out they made their final critical care selection a few weeks prior to receiving my package. And we all know what happened last year.
