Because you are going to ODS you should have probably already received your commission in the Navy. Therefore, you will never wear your Army uniform again. Show up to ODS in civilian attire, your new Navy uniforms will be issued there. good luck.

Hey everyone! spoke to my navy detailer yesterday....looks like its either Bethesda or Portsmouth.. anybody have info on both locations such as how the hospital is, city life, BAH in the area, etc.. any info would be greatly appreciated!!

Yes, like vinstafa, im also being brought in without a budget in place...ive already signed the accession bonus form and should be hearing from the detailer this week..my recruiter whos super awesome notified me last week...just waiting on that final select letter!

hey everyone! so i got a call from my recruiter yesterday...she said it looks like the board met last week. although she knew the results wouldnt be posted yet, she looked anyway and no selections were posted. with Thanksgiving coming up shortly, looks like we'll hear something around the 1st week of December. also, because there no official goal number as of yet, she said they will just mark the applications as prorec or rec. hopefully we all get good news soon!

Hey everyone..so i just got off the phone with my recruiter..she said that theyre not accepting applications for general nursing this year due to funding (those would be the newgrads with no experience)....as for MEDSURG and OR positions, they accepted applications and have closed for this FY so good luck to those who applied...as for CRITICAL CARE positions, applications are still being accepted with the board to meet this month (no date set as of now)...hope this sheds some light for those who are waiting! as for me, my application is ready to go for the Critical Care board! good luck to everyone!

Hey! Not sure if 11 for now is good or bad, but it seems like a big number considering that they accept less applicants..no set board date? I was really hoping they would convene shortly after the board for general nursing..ive been looking at the AF posts and theyre finding out this week..exciting!!

My packet is complete and ready to go as well...my recruiter did say there was a deadline for general nursing..but no deadline for critical care applicants..not sure what that means..but the time is nearing!!!

Yea i like that motto! Probably best to not think its gonna happen in November..when do u guys think ODS will be for US if​ we get in? LOL
