Hey guys! Thought I'd start this after seeing a request :)

My name is Hope..graduate in December with my BSN. Applied OB... Alternate #5

Omgosh me too! Especially when everyone is putting up all their orders lol. I just want ours to come so we can all celebrate with them lol

hey HBaum,

I am not new to this site but have been keeping up on alot of different posts. I am applying for a fully qualified position for med/surg. i applied in february but didnt get selected and my recruiter thinks its because I wasnt done with my BSN yet. now that I just got done, I am reapplying for the new FY boards selections in early november and wont find out till the end of november. I definitely know that stress about playing the waiting game. IT SUCKS!!!! LOL. good luck to all of you NTP applicants waiting on answers. talk to you all soon:)

My recruiter is apparently out of town... I've been waiting on this alternate number for a while now, ugh.

Awesome! Do you have a year or more of experience and that is why you are applying to the FQ boards!?

I have been a nurse for 4 years now. the fully qualified boards for med/surg are at the beginning of november and I wont find out until the end of november. that would sure be a nice B-Day present for me to get accepted considering my b-day is at the end of November. LOL. how about you? how long have you been trying to get in? your applying for NTP right?

Oh very cool! What area do you work in now? Yes, everyone on here has applied to the NTP program in July. The majority have graduated already and have worked less than a year, but I don't graduate until this December. This is my first time applying to the board and I was put as alternate number 5, so not many complaints! I just hope, along with all the other alternates on this site, that I get in! :) good luck on ur FQ application process!

hey HBaum,

I work in med/surg and is what I have always worked in. that is cool that at least your an alternate and number 5 at that!!! you have a really good chance of getting picked up soon. when i applied in february, i was not done with school yet but figured I would at least give it a shot. there were only 20 slots left for the 2012 FY and my recruiter said that everyones application that he sent in that was still in school, didnt get selected. with novembers boards being the new FY for 2013, there are about 170 slots and I am done with school now, I am hoping my chances are better on getting in this time. LOL. fingers crossed and good luck to you and everyone else applying and waiting on anwers. this waiting game SUCKS BIG TIME!!!!! hope to hear from you soon. let me know how it goes for you and I will do the same. everyone seems so nice on this site. I am glad I came across it.
