Rules and Regulations


I work in a certified alz care facility and my previous exp was acute care in the hospital so this is still all new to me even after a yr of being there. I was just wanting to know where i can find a copy of the texas laws for this type of facility so i can read and learn the rules for myself. Is anyone can be of help it would be appreciated

Do a search for "nursing home regulations in Texas" or " long term care regulations in Texas" You'll find lots of ggod info-your state dept. of health and also your state att. general have links to LTC.

Go to the DADS website. The regulatory guidelines for facilities are there as are links to the applicable TAC codes which also apply. In addition your facility should have a copy of the guidelines on site for reference. I believe that is required under the guidelines.
