Hey!

Has anyone applied to KSU for the Spring 2014 program?

Elliot08- How does that work?! Do they make you go through the application process again or do they just hold your spot for fall? I'm sad you won't be joining us in the Spring!! :(

No, unfortunately there wasn't anything mentioned about orientation...I'm sure its on its way though!! It just informed us of how to go about registering. And I forgot to mention that the email address my email was sent to was the one I put down on my acceptance contract, which was my KSU email.

Maybe call/email someone from advising??? They could have copied down your email wrong?! It was a mass email (I can see lots of names/addresses it was also sent to).

I called on Friday. They have not sent out the emails as yet, but they will be sending it this coming week. I could always register at the transfer orientation on Dec 6, but I refuse to pay $65 dollars for an orientation session. Fran said there is a spot for everyone in the classes so even if I wait until January 6, to register I will be okay.

I explained my circumstances to F and she and a committee agreed to let me defer to Fall '14. No, I do not have to go through any of the application/interview process again. I'm automatically in. I'm pretty bummed, too, but it was the right move for me. Best of luck guys. I'm excited for y'all!!

Elliot08 I am doing the same thing! It's very disappointing but I made a stupid mistake and need one more class which I will take in the spring. But f said I can be deferred to the fall. Its probably for the better for a lot of reasons but I wish I was starting with all of you! But I will see you in the fall Elliot!!

I am sorry to hear y'all won't be joining us, but I am happy you are able to wait until fall!! Good luck!!

Has anyone signed up to take their CPR course through one of KSUs instructors?

Hi Stephanie,

I too took the TEAS this past Saturday and hoping to apply to KSU for spring 2015. I have a feeling I didn't do too well on the math test and may have to retake the TEAS. How long do they make you wait before retaking it? Thanks.

Congratulations to those of you accepted. Do you mind sharing your GPA & TEAD score. I really would love to get into the nursing program but I worry my GPA won't be enough to even get an interview. Right now I have a 3.0 and still A & P II and Chem 1152..does anyone know how much about their selection process, from what I read it seems hard to know who has a better chance as I have heard some students with 4.0 GPA & TEAS scores in the 90's not getting accepted. Thanks for your feedback! And please share your experience with the program along the way! :-)

They don't do interviews any more.

Hi 14nurse! I applied to the accelerated program for spring 2014, my GPA was 3.06 and I scored a 90.7 on the TEAS. I was not accepted. This is what I was told: "the lowest we went down on the best 5 of 7 math/science courses was 3A's and 2B's".
