I live in northeast tennessee and its so crazy to see all these different salaries. A hospital position for an RN with 13 months expereince pays $18.11. In LTC you can make around $23-24 as an RN.

I live in GA, south of Atlanta making 22/hr. I have 2 yrs of experience and working in Med Surg. With shift diffs and wknd diffs, I make between $24.50-$28. I work 12 hr shifts 3-4 days a wk. This yr, I will gross around $55,000 but only bring home $40,000 net with taxes filing single with no dependents.

(curious to see what nurses are making now in 2015)

I am a new grad in the Bay Area and was just offered a Full time position. I am getting paid 54$/hr, so roughly 112k a year. The cost of living here is really high. A two bedroom costing 3k a month.

Try Dublin, Emerald Park, the yellow apts not the brown ones. 2BR should be about 2000.00 I know that is a ride if going into SF but these apts are right by the highway and bart. These are luxury upscale, everything you need in an apt.
