I am just wondrin how are the new grad nurses in Georgia. What degree of difficulty you've been through in looking for a hospital job? How long since you've been looking for a job? Which part of the state has hospitals that hire new grad nurses?

Anyone having any luck? Any non hospital jobs taking new grads North of Atlanta?

Please help me!! Hello I am a new graduate nurse in atlanta, georgia. I am currently looking for a facility that is willing to hire new graduate nurses. I need advice on exactly what steps I need to take to get recruiters attention. For anyone who has gotten a position inside the hospital can you provide information on how you got in to your facility?

During Summer 2010, I had the opportunity to complete the nurse extern program summer after junior nursing year @ Gwinnett Medical. They have a nurse residency program too and I was told priority would go to externs that were in the program. I graduate in MAY 2011 and will apply to the residency program hopefully I will get it.

I would suggest looking at Wellstar. I know Kennestone ER has a new grad program too.

Also another route is to consider the Air Force reserve once you complete your training you will become "gold" even as a new grad!!

LMK if you have any questions
