Chattahoochee Tech 2013

U.S.A. Georgia

Thought it would be a good time to start a new thread for all of us that are applying to Chattahoochee Tech for fall 2013! I would love to see what you received on the TEAS and your GPA. I plan on taking the TEAS V in August and currently have a 4.0 in my sciences and a 3.8 overall (I think). Does anyone know how many people usually apply and how many get accepted?

Positive thoughts for you ladies!!! The waiting game is no fun. Did y'all apply elsewhere?

Are y'all wearing suits to the interviews? I need to go shopping in the next couple days to get something.

Specializes in GI med-surg, Hepatitis C.

Thanks Lauren. No, I did not apply anywhere else. Dress for sucess!

You're welcome!! I don't want to see anyone left out! Thinking I will probably go with a pants suit.

I didn't apply anywhere else - sort of a one shot deal for ADN, if I don't make it I think I'll take my Chem classes and apply for BSN programs next year. I just really don't want to take them yet....lol....Did anyone else have them unable to access your Teas scores at first? I got it straightened out with them and they said they would continue processing my application, but I'm wondering if I got pushed to the back of the line because of that mess...

That's what I plan on doing also. No, didn't have any issues with my Teas scores. That could be part of it, who knows. I'd love to know how many people are being interviewed too. This whole process is so stressful.

Oh what to wear? ugh! I don't have anything! I know the waiting game as well....I applied to three schools. Wait listed at North Georgia, nothing yet from Georgia Highlands, and the upcoming interview for CTC. This has been a long process. I would love to see everyone on here get in and succeed! Words of encouragement are a must on here as we push forward to becoming an RN!!! Keep your heads up and don't second guess yourself or your ability. We can do this, and if the time is not right now then the door will open when the time is right!! I have to remind myself to be patient as well! Keep us posted!

I don't either! Being a stay at home mom/student doesn't ever require business attire. :-) I couldn't agree more about being encouraging towards one another. I've met some pretty awesome people so far on this journey and know that I will meet more very soon.

Say you get your acceptance to highlands next week, before the ctc interview, what will you do? I know a bunch of ppl who wouldn't apply to Ctc because they don't have the national accreditation.

You guys are so positive and awesome thank you!

For me, it would be tough to choose between GA Highlands and CTC. CTC is really close to me and GHC's program is only 4 semesters with the summer off if you start in the fall. I would still take my interview though before making a decision. I hope to be fortunate enough to have to make a decision instead of having it made for me. Either which way it is all good! I do plan on doing my RN to BSN bridge bridge at GHC.

You guys are so positive and awesome thank you!

Are you currently attending CTC? With your scores, it so odd that you haven't heard anything. Still have one more day so I am throwing good vibes your way!! :) - Kris
