Thought it would be a good time to start a new thread for all of us that are applying to Chattahoochee Tech for fall 2013! I would love to see what you received on the TEAS and your GPA. I plan on taking the TEAS V in August and currently have a 4.0 in my sciences and a 3.8 overall (I think). Does anyone know how many people usually apply and how many get accepted?
It is so strange that I haven't heard anything! And Jerseygirl22, because I think she's already an LPN. It makes me wonder if they're interviewing all qualified applicants, or just a few. I heard from other students in the past that they don't interview everyone, but who knows. I'm so worried that I got lost in the shuffle! I talked with an advisor today and she told me that since I haven't heard anything yet not to worry. Yeah right! Time will tell I guess
Thanks for the support, I know you guys will do great!
allysamyles- I find it odd too that YOU with great TEAS scores and a high GPA, have not heard anything either. I sent in my app. with my TEAS, not really thinking I had a shot, but tried. I too am unsure what the plan of action is for the school. In the past, they had a cut off on TEAS scores, but from an advisor's mouth, things were being done differently this year, but no specifics mentioned. All we can do is wait, and no news is good news I guess. It really may be the case that not everyone is interviewed, and also, we have until tomorrow to be notified...depending on the confirmation of appointments. They may contact the ones who have not received an email based on those responses. I'm baffled, but still holding on to whatever is meant to be will be. This cookie may crumble, but I won't give up!
That's a good point, since Friday at noon was the deadline for confirmation, maybe we'll hear something after that. Be encouraged though, because it's my understanding that a certain number of spots are reserved for LPN's, since they started their LPN-RN program this year. Hoping for the best for everyone!!
Don't give up, ladies!! I wish I had an answer for you. Not knowing/waiting is so frustrating.
I'm so nervous about this interview. Does anyone know if it's conducted by 1-2 ppl or a panel? I haven't had a job in well over 10 years so I hope they don't ask the difficult customer questions.

I tried to apply at Highlands in February but I didnt have enough time to take the Sats and get scores back before the app deadline. I still lack a few classes for their program also. Highlands is way closer for me and they offer financial aid which is a drawback of Ctc's program. I will make it work though!! I want this too bad to let distance deter me and I will just have to get my own loan.
