I'm scheduled to take it June 1. I just want to see is someone scheduled for that day or any other day in june. I know that is the only test month that Darton is doing for the fall. Anyway if you want to share your date or experience like is this your first time or second or so on? By the way this will be my second the first time I scored a 68 on the anatomy is what got me rejected.

Wow it seems like we had the same class avg which was good! We both made it over the class avg so that gives me some hope and you had seat number 50 so I would guess it may have been fifty something. Anyway I'm glad that part is over for me and you. I'm hoping we get our letters early because I have to move if I'm in. With three kids thats not easy. I have to be moved by the end of july because albany school systems for the kids start back August 6th so I don't have a lot of time. I'm trying to go somewhere next week to kill some time and get away from my mail box. Just let me know as soon as you get something from darton cause they move fast. I'm expecting the letters in two weeks since next friday(15th) is the last day they give the hesi for the fall applications. When I was rejected for the summer swainsboro location they said the letter would go out by April 16th and I got my rejection on March 31st on a saturday. So don't be surprised.

You have alot To do in such a short time. I will let u know when I get my letter.

I took the HESI on June 9th and made an 82 overall with a 65 on the Anatomy part. The rest of my scores were 88+. So frustrating! This was my third time taking this test. I honestly don't know what they are looking for....

luluinblu did the nursing department tell you why you didn't get in all the other times. Was it your score? Also is it true they look at the anatomy first to determine who gets in. I'm a little worried because my anatomy was a 92% but my overall was a 82.80%, my math was a 82% and english composite was a 80%. My overall is what worries me a little, it's not a high as I thought it would be.

I've heard a million different theories on how they choose the candidates but honestly I am clueless, LOL. I've heard they only look at A&P score, that they chose the top 112 from each group of applicants, that they look at GPA. I dunno! The first time I took the HESI I made a 76.7 on the AP section and a 79 overall. The department told me the cutoff was 77 for AP, so I missed getting in by 0.3 points. AHHH! The second time I took the HESI I made a 79 overall and made a 55 on AP, and was told me test grade was the reason. I guess I will see what the reason is this time around. I made an 82 overall, but would have liked my AP grade to have been better. I only got a 65 this time around and I studied my butt off. I'm through with my core classes and have a 3.3 GPA.

IMO, you should get in. Your test scores were awesome! I would not be worried about a 92 in AP. I'm jealous!

Your overall is good, thats how I felt when I took the hesi for the summer and only got a 68 in Ap. I studied so much for that section until my head was hurting. What help me this time is that my test questions was the same and I remembered what I needed so when I studied I only studied that particular info. It was a risk I was taking but it worked. I'm done with all core also and my gpa is a 3.4 Do you live in Albany? I'm going to relocate if I get in. I'm hoping the letters come next week so I can make plans to relocate, If I get in. I have three kids so moving isn't easy with them. The last test is friday so I figured they would send them out next week. Im a nervous wreck right now.

The application said that you should received your letters by July 15th. So we probably won't get them until right around that time :(

Wow that's pretty late, especially for those who would have to relocate in that short amount of time. One of my friends that got in the program she said when she applied for fall they told them they would get their letter in July but they got them the end of june. Also from my experience when I got a rejection for summer they said we would get a letter by April 16 the letters came March 31st. Darton moves pretty fast so I'm hoping they do that again but if not then it's going to be a long wait. Please let me know when you hear something!!!!!

I just thought I would inform you all that I checked darton's spring nursing application because it was posted today and how about they are changing from taking the hesi to the ATI Teas v exam. Can I get any info on how yall feel about this change? Now I really hope I get in this fall because the competition just got harder starter spring.

Hey Limitless-visions,

I am remaining positive despite my score. 83.20 which is 2% drop from the first Hesi. I don not know if they compare scores from the first and second, but I am hoping we all get in fall semester. A&P kicked me this time because I focused so much on the math portion.
