Any advice on great NCLEX study books from fundamentals through to adult health III? I don't want to overload myself, but I need a great book with clever NCLEX questions and breaks the rationale down. Thanks!!

Hi, I've since transferred but I had 2 clinical days and the schedule was based on the passing of check-offs. Also you can choose to have clinicals back 2 back for the two days or once a week. Hope this helps.

Would anyone please share their experiences as an LPN or BSN student? To make a long story short, I was in an ADN program and fell short by 2 points? I'm ready to go back to nursing school but I'm apprehensive about which program to choose. Thanks:-)

Hi there, Thank you first for replying. I know I should try another program but this is my issue. I am a hands on learner. I was still memorizing instead of learning when I was at Darton. I knew I could have made it and I am not shifting blame, but I have realized that I cannot help anyone in nursing school but myself. I have to want it bad enough. I want to know the "how-to" instead of the "why." I know I can become a nurse but I need the basic skills first, get a job, then bridge over after I have had some experience. I am looking at Albany Technical college because there NCLEX-PN rate is 96%. Would you please share your LPN school experiences?

Hey CLUVPN, Could you explain the scope of an LPN? I was in an RN program here in Georgia, but I don't think that school was for me, so I am transferring to an LPN program, acquire the skills, then bridge. Any information would help!

Hi, Would you please tell me the scope of practice of an LPN. I live in GA, got accepted to an RN program, felt lost as all get out because I'm more of a "hands-on" type of person. What are the main differences of LPN or RN? Thanks

I agree with Kristen82483, Darton is all about money and not teaching the reality of nursing today. There is more classroom than actual clinical time. You would want to be confident in the skills that are provided as an entry-level nurse, not asking how to perform a skill that should be conquered in NS.

Hi there I am applying. I had a horrible experience at another collegr. I have taken all of the pre requisites known to man and by now i should have a bachelor's degree...i'd rather go to a technical college. At least I'll reap tge hard work I've put in.

Hi Success88, I know how you feel. I kept applying and finally got in. Now I have to apply for the Spring Evening Program as well due to personal life interfering with nursing. I hope you all get in because nursing is tough and rewarding as well. It is so true when the instructors tell you to READ, READ, READ!!! Follow their advice once you get in and you will pass to the next course!! Hope to see you all soon
