I am looking for a school in New Mexico that will take any credits from Carrington College, I am also wondering if Grand Canyon University would take any or would I have to start all over again, if starting over what is their program like?

When you contacted the schools you're interested in and asked them these questions, did they not answer you? You DID ask the school's admissions/academic counselors these questions, right?

You really just need to get on the phone and start calling. Get names, phone numbers and emails for the people you need to talk too. When I was researching schools and who accepts what this is what I had to do. To be honest it was a long aggravating process to find the right person to talk to at each school and then get the final answer in writing (which is what you want to get also). They will likely want to see your transcript and some syllabus' before giving you the final word. No offense to anyone here but no one here can answer your question you need to get it from each school you are looking at. Good luck!

Are you an RN who attended Carrington's non-accredited nursing program and are now seeking to enroll in an RN-to-BSN program? Or are you a pre-nursing student who attended one of Carrington's allied health programs and is looking to become an RN?

If you are an RN and graduate of an unaccredited nursing program, schools such as Kaplan U and Univ of Phoenix have accepted credits for transfer from unaccredited nursing programs.

... and then you'll get to call other places to see who will accept your unaccredited ones when you want to go to grad school. You might decide you'd be better off in the long run by writing them off and starting afresh.

The two schools I previously mentioned (Kaplan and UofPhx) are CCNE-accredited, although I wouldn't recommend their nursing programs due to the astronomical tuition.

I was referring to the (hypothetical?) previous credits from Carrington. If they appear on a transcript at any time in the future, they will still be a barrier.

Completely agree on the cost of the for-profit schools. The way they suck students dry is unethical, in my view.
