I realize all schools are different but - basically what are they looking at for acceptance? The waiting is killing me. All applications had to be in by December 31, 2003. They started the "reviews" on January 5th.
I have been out of school for 25+ years, but have worked in the medical field all those years. I had great grades in high school and college (over 20 years ago), took their chemistry course (A-), I was in the 99 percentile on my CNET test, one of my references was a local surgeon, and on my interview, the administrator said "perfect answer!," when I answered "why do you want to become a nurse?" She told me there she could see no reason for me not to be accepted, but.....
They only do the "acceptance thing" once a year. Any one know how long it takes (I'm getting older by the minute!) ??
What were your experiences? Thanks.
UPDATE: I'm IN!
