UTMB Spring 2017 Commute from Houston

Nursing Students School Programs

Hello! I'm new to this site and I have just submitted my NURSINGCAS application to UTMB Spring 2017. I'm just wondering if anyone here is from Houston and how bad is the commute to UTMB? It would be great if someone can tell me what the class schedule is like. Do we have to go to class everyday and for how many hours a day? Please enlighten me. I have a 6 month old baby and need to figure out my schedule.

Thank you so much!!

Howdy! I am a current 2nd semester student at UTMB. I live in Webster, TX. The commute is fine. I don't love it, and it would be nice to have the 40 minutes in my morning/afternoon, but it's doable. I take the NASA exit though, and every day when I exit I can see everyone slowing down in front of me and I know the traffic is pretty rough from that point on. Its really up to you but I know I wouldn't be able to do a commute any longer than what I do now. Good luck! I hope you get accepted!
