 the final was on Endocrine and Reproductive Systems. i should get my grades for the semester this weekend. very very very worried. i had a B before this test. hopefully i didn't blow it.

Were these systems hard for everyone else?

No, I actually found those systems easier to learn as compared to the autonomic nervous system & the heart. My last exam was on the digestive system & respiratory system....I felt clueless, but somehow still ended up with an A for the class.

I'm sure you did great though. Let us know when you find out your grade.

I hated endocrine, lymphatic and blood vessels but mostly endocrine. Those hormones were to confusing because of that chapter I ended up with a B+ in physio not in Anatomy it was a little much easier.

thanks. that was a night class and we didn't cover much of the material in class. was pretty much get it on your own. :-(

the grades will be in by Monday...

i enjoyed both a&p i and ii better than i did micro. i am glad i learned something and had the instructor who taught.

all the best to you.

I found the Endocrine system to be very hard. All those hormones...all those releasing/inhibiting hormones! All the zones of the adrenal cortex! All the effects and disorders. It was hard to keep them straight.

The ANS was somehow easier for me. It made a lot of sense, especially after studying it all again for the final.

Let us know how you did when you get your grade, parker.

I thought that endocrine was hard, too. All those hormones to keep straight!! The endocrine test was my lowest test score, and it almost pulled my A down to a B. I hope you did OK!! Good luck :p

Our teacher had us make a chart of the glands , what they produce and thier effects. After doing it I studied it and studied it, over and over, and over. It helped me learn it all so much better. I ended up w/ a 104% on the final....yea!!! . The muscles are what I had the most trouble with.

Our final was mostly brain stuff (parts, functions of parts and regions, the circle of willis (we had a diagram, (a very detailed one) and had to fill in the blanks, and then write essays on certain parts). I loved the class until we hit endocrine. ugh! Still, I walked away with an A in it.

Micro is the only pre/co-req that I haven't taken, and that was only due to financial considderations. But our class takes a break in the second part of Summer (summerII here), and I intend to take it then. I fully expect to be a GN at the end of december 2003.

I truly look forward to it.

Nursing has cost me quite a few friends (mostly biker bros) but hey, thats THEIR problem! I want to be the best nurse I can possibly be!

OMG, count your lucky stars. My A&P final was COMPREHENSIVE. And when Dr. C said comprehensive, he meant it. I pulled an A- out of the class but only because I had straight A's for every other assignment and test all semester plus extra credit. Yowza, it was harsh.

Comprehensive....ugh. That would be a lot of stuff to remember. Glad you did well.

Heard that! Fewer things strike more fear than 'Comprehensive Examination' -especially on a complex subject.

The only thing comprehensive about my A/P2 final was that we also had to label the marked arteries or veins that were on a diagram of the the body -and there really weren't that many on it. If you knew the brain, you would do well.
