Student loans and the Govt standoff

I'm not a well versed politico but do we have to worry about funding for student loans if this budget fracas doesn't get solved?

well my subsidized & unsubsidized loans came thru for this fall, so im hoping so, i have spring semster of '12 to pay for i hope this crap gets sorted out i cant fork out 7G's right now..:( ughhhhh g*****n gov! :(

I have a pell and unsub and sub loans for the 2011-2012 school year so I'm good I guess?! well for this school year anyway. There is a movement on facebook called save the pell. Big government crunching down on the little lower and middle class americans, its a shame really. Without people going to school to get good jobs, the economy will never recover. If they take away the pell that would crush the hopes, dreams, and inspiration of many. :uhoh3:

The politicos just need to compromise and get the deal done. It saddens me as an american that it has come to this. We were in the same boat a few months ago when they couldn't get the budget passed in order to pay the military.
