I've been trying ebay, amazon and half.com. What does it normally cost? I want to make sure I'm not bidding too much (on ebay). I would really like one for clinicals.
TIA!:)

You'll love it, Jen. I got mine form the campus bookstore after a classmate who had one showed it to our instructor who asked the bookstore to order it for us. Costed $20 and well worth it. You're going to love how you can write it in and reuse it after washing away the old with an alcohol wipe.

I have gotten so much use from mine as well, very handy fits in to your pocket, and love the wipe off pages.

I bought mine @ Barnes & Noble bookstore around $19.95. Very handy but wished I'd known it was available for PDA at skyscape.cpm before buying book version.

I bought mine from one of the instructors from school. She bought them in bulk and sold them for 25$ each. The profits were donated to our pinning ceromony fund. :)

I got mine for $14 from amazon.com. It was 2nd hand but look just new. Great info., although I don't really have the time to look things up while in hospital.

Okay everybody, I am a newsie here and don't start school until the summer. What are RNotes you are all talking about? It sounds great, but it would be nice if I knew what you were all talking about so I could get whatever it is.:)
What it is is a small, pocket-size reference guide...suitable for nursing students and established nurses. There are tabs that take you directly to assessment tools, lab values, dosage/calc formulas, well-known meds, etc....You can assess up to four patients per shift in it (maybe it's more? Brain overload, can't remember if it's 4 or more) and then, after you're finished, simply wipe it away with an alcohol swab. Here's a pic of one I found on ebay....was going to put it in as a hyperlink but the page kept automatically refreshing and wouldn't let me....copy/paste time.
