I have a question....
Is anybody a member of the NSNA? If so, do y'all recommend joining? I'd love some input on this. Thanks!

I also joined independently. I don't think it makes any difference as far as the benefits.

I am currently the president of my school chapter of the NSNA and tomorrow I will be attending the mid-year convention. It is even in my city so that is really convinent for me. I am a member of the NSNA and it is worth it. You can so many discounts from things like books, insurance, and magazines. I love being a member of the NSNA. It took me 2 years to figure out and join. I wish I would have done it from day one. It is well worth the money to join. The convention will even have a mini-nclex worship. If anyone is interested in going to a student nurse convention start looking into it now. The next student nurse convention after this week's will be held in Phoenix, Arizona in April 2003.

Great post. I finally got off my butt and independently joined online today. My school does not have a chapter, but I'm looking forward to being a member:)
