What might an elderly male patient use to help with some urine
flow that he can't stop once it has started. He can't get up to the bathroom yet.
It has to be something that he could manage with arthritis deformities and weakness of his hands (last few days he couldn't even write) and he has Parkinson's so his hands sometimes are shakey. But he has been able to feed himself with a fork. His vision recently has become blurry.
While in hospital he has use of a bottle, but worries about it spilling in the bedsheets.
I suspect that he will try to decrease his fluid intake to avoid the urine accumulating.
What products might he be able to manage on his own?
I've seen the adult size Depends, or absorbent pads with a stretchy net panty. And this C3 product: http://www.srsmedical.com/products/patientproducts/c3-penile-clamps.htm

They make incontience pads specifically for men. http://www.northshorecare.com/padsmen1.html
Otherwise if he is able to use a urinal why not have one at home and use washable bed pads like they have in the hospital, but nicer under him just in case?
