What brand?
How much memory? Is 32MB enough?
Where to get a good price?
Thanks for the suggestions!

Lots of great threads on the PDA subject, but I'm sure someone will chime in with some useful info shortly. SueMom2Kay in particular is a great authority on the PDA subject and helped me bunches when I was choosing one. :)
I ended up getting a Tungsten E with a 128MB card and love it. I'm still learning to use it, though. :)

Load your software first. Then when the installer tells you to plug the USB cord into the port do so. After that you should be able to plug in you PDA and sync it.
I have an iPAQ pocket PC from HP. It came with plenty of memory and I haven't had any difficulty loading any programs. My Lippencotts Nursing Drug Guide has been a life saver in clinical and I am going to get a medical dictionary for it soon.

I just bought an Audiovox Thera. Combination pda/cellphone. I can't say one way or the other if it's good. Seems to be more software for Palm operating system though.

This past Monday I purchased the Palm Tungsten E. $199.99 from Circuit City. It has 32MB of memory. I believe it will be enough.
I am still trying to figure out which programs I want to download.
I know for a fact you can purchase a brand new one on Ebay for less. I just happened to have a $100.00 gift cert. for Circuit City. Otherwise, I would have bought mine off of Ebay.
So far though, I LOVE IT! :)

I had a difficult time loading the Davis Drug Guide into my Tungsten E. When they sent me my unlock code, I got an error message instead. Skyscape had to send me a smartpatch to fix a gliche they say occurs with the later pda models. I don't understand the whole deal but they fixed it.
What other programs have you downloaded (just curious) :) I am debating over a few.

sony clie of course!!! and 28 mb is way enough!!!! xo Jen
ABGpro is nice. It tells you whether you've got acidosis or alkalosis, metabolic or respiratory, and it's free. I also downloaded RNLabs, a timesaving alternative when it comes to looking up labs. I don't have to flip through pages anymore. I'd like to find a pathophysiology program from the nursing perspective but don't know of any. Maybe someone else here can give me a clue?

I just got a Palm Tungsten TX . Circuit City has this $75 rebate on it thru 1-27 so it will end up costing $225. I love the WI-FI.
