Letter, to Myself

I am required to write a letter to myself for Graduation when I finish my BSN. I am here to get advice about what you would put in a letter to yourself 2/3 years from now? A little background is I am in my first nursing class and moving forward. This letter will be given to me when I cross the stage and before my NCLEX.

What would you write to your future self? Any advice?

What experiences before, and after your acceptance and your first nursing class can you write about? What have you endured and the feelings behind those experiences can you write about?

Start from there and see how it goes.

Such a great assignment! Since this will be given to you during graduation, how about reflect on where you came from...thru pre reqs, applying to nursing school and getting accepted, the first couples weeks, any challenges you had to face to get to where you are now. Also, include words of encouragement for graduating and going on your way to take the NCLEX. And don't forget to include growth...how you see yourself now compared to how you will see yourself when you graduate.

And be prepared to chuckle a little bit about the earnestness and flowery language about being a nurse, caring, dedication, passion, selflessness, and all that, resembling your admissions essay. This little exercise may also help you write less goofy applications for work. :)
