haha, I feel ya. Mine has been cleaning. I am used to straighting up everyday & it kills me that I don't have the time. The house isn't bad, it's just my thing, ya know? After studying for my first test, I felt like I couldn't absorb anymore, and needed to process everything. I started to clean... when hubby saw me gathering all the supplies, he was like 'oh no, you ain't'. I said it's ok, I'm good.
I must admit, if you were in my study group, I'd opt for studying in someones kitchen! lol. We are so bad w/eating right now, you can hear a symphony of 'bowel sounds' during lecture.
To blow off homework, unfortunately it is reading this site:p. My husband always knows when I can't concentrate anymore because I begin typing on this site. I can't help it, the computer is right in front of me, and when I can't take anymore reading, I just go right onto the computer.
Another thing I do is, start playing with my kids if they are awake. They get a little attention from mommy, when she can't take anymore reading:rolleyes:
If my on-campus apartments had stoves I would DEFINATELY use them, but alas we dont. Plus I got to a school that is isolated, so when I need to re-group I go off campus and drive down to the city for a good meal out and a movie, sometimes with other, alot of times solo!! And if I am broke, a good book, exercise, and listening to jazz always gets me back togather!

I have to ask my fellow nursing students what it is you do to relieve stress and/or avoid homework.
I've always knew mine was cooking, but today I hit an all time high. (errr low?) I made hot beef sandwiches, garlic bread, pasta with grilled chicken and veggies, more garlic bread, and a cake. Then for awhile I was thinking about putting together some burgers to freeze for later....
And this was all to blow off stress and avoid my homework. Whoops!
