Hi there! And welcome:p What prereqs are you taking? I had a time with my A&P class, but found that lots of studying helped a ton. I hope that we can all be of help! Welcome again.

to be honest, there are some classes that are less overwhelming than others, but none were "easy" per say. it takes dedication, much studying, and a lot of organization skills, but you can do it.
much continued success to you in your endeavors.

The most difficult classes for me were Chemistry and College Algebra but I got tutors for both of those classes and that is how I made it through.

Hi Roxanne,
New here too and glad I'm found this place. I'm about to go into my second year and I have to tell you I'm burnt out but in a good way! Unfortunately I've had to take 3 classes every semester since starting the program. I didn't expect to get in and thought I had another year to get the prereq's out of the way...wrong! For myself the tough courses were A&P 1 & 2. I still have to take Micro this fall and I'm not looking forward to it. I did discover on-line courses and LOVE THEM! They're not for everyone but if you're disciplined and time restricted, I suggest trying them. Try not to stress too much (easier said than done), you always find a way to do what you have to do.

Welcome Roxanne! :)
I had a nice little speech written for you, but because I put one too many smilies in my post, I had to go back to remove one, and my entire comments were gone.
You would think after posting a bazillion post already, I can have more than six smilies...I mean really now...is seven too many to ask for...Moderators??? :chair: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Okay...now that I have that out of my system...I wish you well in your endeavors to become a nurse. If you are a self-motivated, well organized individual who has excellent time management skills and study habits, there is no reason why you shouldn't excel in the program. Doesn't mean you'll ACE everything, but at least you will be giving it your all and making decent grades to boot. Here at Allnurses, you'll find some very helpful information and very supportive people...we've all been there before, and our Student population here is right in the thick of it now, so visit that forum too for help.
