I sit here everyday latley reading posts all the way back into last year! I am 38, and finally going to follow this dream of mine. My family is supporting me and I cant wait!!! Just wanted to thank everyone here, because I know just reading your posts have inspired me to go forward with this! Thank you! Thank you!! By-the-way, is anyone here going to Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo? I have lotsa questions!

LOL...I'm an addict too! I'm here every day, just absorbing info. Makes me feel more confident, and I'm starting my prereq's next month!

I just wanted to give you some inspiration. Im 36yrs old w/3 kids (7,8 and 11) I am in my first semester of nursing, it took me 4 years to do my pre-reqs. It is all so worth it and if you really want it you can do anything. It is hard but more so time consuming. Its the best thing I have ever done and it has made me a better person. Go for your dream and good luck. ;) When it gets to be too much just come to this site and read, it is my inspiration. Thanks to all.

This is a wonderful site. I've only been here a month, but already have learned so much from the great people here. They are really a wealth of information - honest, too. No sugar-coating how things really are. It has made me renew my committment to getting into nursing school, or doing SOMETHING, like CNA, until I do get in.
