I got my test results

I got my test results back today and I was in a way kind of shocked but in a good way. I did better than I thought. I changed some answers so I got nervous after I was done but it turns out I got an 85%. (I worked my rear end off for the test so I am happy with my results) If I did not change some of my answers then I would have gotten an A because the one's I missed were the one's I changed and had right the first time (THOU SHALL NOT CHANGE THEIR ANSWER UNLESS THEY ARE 100% SURE THEY ARE CHANGING IT FOR THE BETTER) I must remind myself of that. Anyway I also had the highest score in the class. The class average was an 72%.

Well, anyway I have to get back to studying now next test is On monday and it is over birth/postpartum.

WAY TO GO PEACEFUL !!!

:)

Good Luck Monday

thou shall not change answers is a good one. also, learn to trust your instincts and go with your gut ( the first answer ) if you don't know. Great job, keep up the good work Stef

Speaking about trusting gut feelings, we have to do nursing journals and for the first journal we have to list 3 strengths and 3 weakness that we have. Well, among my 3 weaknesses I choose not going with my gut feeling as one of them. We also have to list steps to take to improve our weaknesses and one of my steps was to not change answers on tests and simply go with my gut feeling. On April 1st we have to turn in a second journal entry so we have until then to work on improving it and then re-evaulate our weaknesses. I feel that is going to be something that will be a wonderful thing for me to do.

Another one of my weakness is getting up in front of people to give a speech or talk. Well, I am already starting to improve because back in January we had to stand in front of class, and I was so nervous I could barely talk but just last week I got up in front of class and I could not believe the fact that I did not have butterflies in my stomach and I was able to talk without any problems.

I use to be so shy in high school, I was voted the shy person award in senior year. If some of my old classmates see me today they won't believe their eyes and ears.

Tonya, YOU GO GIRL !

Public speaking is suppose to one of the biggest fears ever! You have a lot to be proud of.

Good Luck

marie

I admire your overcoming your shyness! I am terrified of speaking in front of people and flush red as a beet from head to toe just thinking about it. I am really worried about how much is going to be required of me in nursing school regarding public speaking. Let me know how you have done it because at this point, i feel it may be impossible and that i will just faint :)
