Hi

I have been reading here a while and have decided to officially join in. This is a great site.

I am wondering what most grading scales are like. I have seen some mentioned that are so different than my school, a CC. Just wondering what other schools out there have.

Here is my current Scale.

A = 94%

B = 87%

C = 80%

I had a class last semster where bottom line was 85%. If anyone wants to share, think it would be great to compare.

Have a safe and happpy holiday weekend. I plan on working, cant beat that double time for a poor college student.

Specializes in PICU, Peds Ambulatory, Peds LTC.

Hi Nontrad1964:

I also am a product of a Community College. The minimum passing grade for Nursing Student's was a 73% which was equivalent to a C. If you scored a 72% or below you flunked.

Does anyone else feel a bit intimidated by the grading scale? :chuckle I mean, I think about just how few questions you have to miss in order to get a failing grade. Yikes! I am bound and determined, though, to know my stuff! :p
