grading scales

Hi

I have been reading here a while and have decided to officially join in. This is a great site.

I am wondering what most grading scales are like. I have seen some mentioned that are so different than my school, a CC. Just wondering what other schools out there have.

Here is my current Scale.

A = 94%

B = 87%

C = 80%

I had a class last semster where bottom line was 85%. If anyone wants to share, think it would be great to compare.

Have a safe and happpy holiday weekend. I plan on working, cant beat that double time for a poor college student.

I guess I should feel pretty lucky. We have the traditional 10 point scale. Anything below a 70% is a D, which is failing. They are talking about changing it though, so who knows what it will be later.
