Finals rant!

We are on to the next semester already, but I'm right there with you. I had an 84.4 average...if I had just gotten a couple more little test questions right I could have had a B. It wouldn't bother me so much, but the last test before the final had some B A D questions on it. Should have been thrown out BAD. But they refused to take them off the test even after we provided documentation to support the answers we (as a class) overwhelmingly chose over the "right" answer. Ahhh well...shouldn't be fussing I guess. I'm already behind on reading.

Go ahead and say what you really mean...LOL .PEACE....

We lost 12 the first semester, and started with 49. We lost 8 more in just the first half of 2nd semester (which is divided into two 8 week sessions, each graded individually). We lost 2 the 2nd half of 2nd semester (and we are only on our 3rd week of it!) You ONLY lost 8 in two semesters? If we continue on as other classes have, we expect to graduate less than half of our original class. Be grateful they are so easy on you!

Finals are no fun. I just lot my closest friend in nursing school because she didn't pass. In fact, we lost 4 students out of 25 in our first semester.

I hate unfair test questions because even though I sometimes I know the answer I know that it isn't fair to other students because it was NEVER in lecture or our assigned book readings.

There was one test question I missed and I asked the teacher to give me a pg. # or any kind of reference to back up her made up answer...well guess what? She couldn't even do that.

I think if anyone gets a C in class be thankful you passed. In the end you'll have your RN degree and nobody will care about your grades.

Yes, they definitely are unfair. Our final was filled with information we had never been taught, nor is it in our book. They do that to weed out the borderline students. It isn't right.

This week alot of people received academic warnings. I feel just sick for them. This is just so hard. We have forty students right now I will be surprised if we wind up with 30.
