Doing awful in nursing school...

I'm in the point where I don't know what I should do anymore with my classes.

My worst classes are geriatrics and OB. I have a D in geri and a C with OB.

I'm frustrated and disappointed. I read the required book, practice questions in the book, and practice questions on the nlcex book. And still do very poorly. I'm not a bad student. I spend my weekend studying all day but the tests don't reflect it. A C in my school is considered failing.

I know there's a million site that gives out study tips. I read them. I listen to other's input on how they study. But I haven't found a solution to raising my grades. Other students are doing the same studying routine as me but they do just fine getting B's in most of their classes.

I don't know what I am doing wrong. Am I trying to hard? Or not trying hard enough? Has anyone felt this way?

Talk to your professors ASAP, they may see where your issues lie. Prayers your way

You need to talk to your prof's stat! They might be able to help. Talk to your classmates. Maybe do a study session with the more successful ones. Once you figure it out, you'll do fine. Nursing school is unlike anything else. Don't give up yet and don't let the fear of failing distract you or stress you out to the point you do worse.

I agree with the above advise! Talk to your instructors ASAP! Also, I know when I was in school, I figured out that studying very early in the mornings helped me tremedously! I could study for hours late in the day or night and did not do nearly as well as when I studied in the mornings (like 4am ish). Good luck and I hope it is not too late to raise those grades!
