So I just finished my first week of nursing school and I'm looking for a calendar thats big enough to fit in the front outer sleeve of my notebook and I can write due dates/assignments on. I remember reading in a thread (that I now can't find) about a website that had made your own planners/calendars. Does anyone have any suggestions or maybe another way to get organized!

Hope you are all enjoying your semester!!

Kat von b,

I use this website for templates of calendars

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/CT101527321033.aspx

I've used it countless times and have always been able to find what I'm looking for. A few of my instructor's this semester have been kind enough to give us a syllabus that contained a calendar with due dates for assignments, exam dates (and what material is on the dreaded exam) as well as assigned readings and case studies.

I also went to staples and got one of those HUGE desk calendars and wrote everything (for all my classes as well as work, family functions, etc). One of my friends got a dry erase, magnetic monthly calendar that she seems to really like too. I think she got it at Target, but I'm sure they sell them everywhere.

Good luck to you with getting organized. That first week was rough because I had no idea how to organize for each class. Once I got all the dates written down (in several places!), I was a lot less overwhelmed.

Good luck with your semester!

Here's another that I've used a lot.

BLACKBERRY!! :D :D Ok, ok, probably not a reasonable option for everyone. http://www.calendarsthatwork.com has lots of options, many of which are free!
