Is anyone applying? :) I thought I'd start a thread.

I am! Hoping I can make it this time around

I am too. Good thing I found this thread. Deadline is approximately 1 month away, are you guys taking or retaking the TEAS anytime soon? I'm taking mine on the 26.

Goodluck! Retaking mine on the 12(:

Thanks. Good luck to you as well. I noticed that this is the first spring that they changed to a 13 points scale instead of 10 and on the bottom of the application where it says "For official use only" under the TEAS section they took out math and put in reading instead. Two months ago I went to their website and download an application and it said "math" I'm not sure which one to use so I'll call monalisa to find out.

I thought it was 11 points, what's the other two? And please update us when you find out!

I sure will. Here is the breakdown.

Prerequisite GPA - 2 pts (this does not mean cumulative prereq GPA just critical thinking, english/composition, speech/public speaking, and statistic)

Science GPA - 4 pts

Overall TEAS score - 2 pts

TEAS Reading Score - 2 pts

Military - 1 pts

Communication Excercise - 2 pts

I'm a bit nervous as I'm taking my Teas on the 26th for the first time. I guess the 26th will be my true indication if I have any shot of getting in.

You can do it @panic36. I'm taking Chem right now now and also studying for TEAS at the same time :( not the best summer ever. I called Monalisa yesterday and she said we should use the updated application which stated the "Reading TEAS" score on the bottom of the page which is inside the box says For official use only. The application with math TEAS score is the old one. Hope this helps

Yes you are correct, last time I took it she said they are changing it to reading instead because too many people were scoring 100 on the math portion. Good luck to all of you! I'm super nervous as well

I was suspecting that to be the reason because it's easier to get 100% on the math portion than the reading. Also, now there are too many people applying so they want to narrow it down. Ahhhhh. We can do it guys.

Late response, but I wanted to say thanks @n_tony, and good luck to you, we taking ours on the same day!
