Is anyone applying? :) I thought I'd start a thread.

I am applying as well. its good i checked this because now i know that math as changed to reading

Hey guys I had a question, is it true you can only apply to the nursing program twice?

Yes that's correct.

If I applied one time to csumentor, but I didn't turn in the nursing or supplemental app bc I realized I didn't have enough units, do you think they count that as one time ?

I don't think that would count because the nursing department was not aware of your application for their nursing program. I would still call Monalisa to make sure. Hope this helps.

Is anyone having a problem with applying. I applied to CSULB last week but I haven't gotten my campus ID yet nor an admission confirmation letter. I tried entering my SSN to get my campus ID but it didn't work. Does anyone have the same problem as mine? I wanted to know my application status. And also I noticed that they haven't deducted the $55 fee from my card yet, I checked csumentor to make sure that I submitted the app and it said that I successfully submitted it. I wonder what went wrong.

When I applied they gave an email saying they were busy and it may take a week or two until they process the application. Since you only did it last week I'd say give it a little bit longer.

I believe it's too soon for you to hear back from them. Usually you should know your status by the end of September (the earliest) or the mid October (the latest). Keep us posted. Good luck Kimchichikim

Thanks everyone. I already got an email from them. Goodluck to all of us!!

Quick question on the CSU Mentor application-

What is the difference between units attempted and units completed? I have 16 units that I finished and received a grade for. Currently, I am taking 9 units, so no grade yet. Would it be 16 units completed and 25 units attempted?

No, you do not include in progress. You only include withdraws. So if you did 30 units, but you withdrew from one class and took a W for 3 of those units, It would be 27 units completed and 30 units attempted.

This is basically so they can see your progress.

Good luck to those of you taking the TEAS tomorrow :)
