Are y'all becoming anxious/nervous with the idea of being an RN? I know I am a little...! O.O Hope it is normal.

I'm also SO excited.

What about graduation plans? Ceremonial plans? Class song? Fundraising?

Specializes in Forensic Psych.

Senioritis! I have no desire to do anything, y'all. I just want them to hand me my license. Why won't they just hand me my license??????

I've been in school for a week and I haven't even looked at the work I need to be doing. So burnt out.

I had my last first day of class today! I am surprised to find myself excited about this semester starting. I had been suffering from serious burn out last semester. While my feelings may change next week, or heck even tomorrow, at this point in time I'm saying bring it on nursing school, I've got this!

I'm graduating in May as well and while being completely terrified, I'm also very excited :)

We have finals week coming up starting Monday. 5 days 5 finals then our second semester practicum and then a break for a week. The practicum is at my workplace which is awesome but my "break" week I'm working also.

I'm graduating in May as well and while being completely terrified I'm also very excited :)[/quote']

I'm stressing over here ... I feel you! I am also so so excited ... I seriously get butterflies.

Also so much to do ... fees to pay ... applications to send ... thumb printing ... background check... resume ... studying for nclex. Seriously busy semester and I too have a serious case of...

Senioritis....

Specializes in LTC, Rural, OB.

June graduate here...seems like it went by so fast but so slow at the same time. Next quarter we get to do our preceptorship, I'm hoping I get my top choice in L&D but will be happy with med-surg as well since I will be working in a small small town hospital after graduation and NCLEX.

Passed HESI Thank God, Graduation has come and gone May 2014. Passed NCLEX Thank God!!! Now need a job

How is everybody doing??? Anybody working yet?

I work on a Progressive Care Unit now as a RN!! ( Still haven't gotten use to saying that) Its a pretty high acuity floor; heparin/nitro drips and things like that. My advice would be to take EVERYTHING in! Be confident in yourself and your abilities, you're not going to now a lot of things but just stay calm and learn. I go off orientation in a few weeks and I'm so excited!!
