Chamberlain college of nursing tuition

Nursing Students School Programs

So I'm planning on applying to attend the spring 2015 class. But I'm having a few reservations before applying. Unlike other schools Chamberlain does not access your financial aid record until u apply, so you have no insight on what financial aid will cover, how much in loans you'll have to take out or if an out of pocket payment will be required. I wanted to post on here and see if anyone had any more in-depth tuition information. I want to complete my degree, but I also don't want to have to stop attending due to not being able to afford it. If anyone has had payment plans, how expensive were they? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in the BSN program and pay between $600-$1000 out of pocket for each block (split into two monthly payments) depending on the amount of credits taken. However, I have tuition reimbursement through my employer, so I've just been rolling the money over. Thank God!

Wow...that's pretty expensive especially if you don't have tuition reimbursement. That makes me really nervous now...

Chamberlain produces some of the BEST nurses in the field, I was going to enroll and after my transfer credits were accepted I owed about $50,000 dollars. My brother actually work in HR department at this college but he was not able to get a discount for me:-(, that with the fact that I could not work or have to cut my hours to 15-20 a week just would not work for me. But Chamberlain is a legit and well respected college just VERY expensive but from what the counselor told me, once you finish you will have NO trouble getting hired ANYWHERE!!!!

Good Luck

I appreciate the advice, based off of what I've read and learned while I was there I know that it's a terrific school. Since there only focus is nursing they are able to dedicate full focus to it. I would love to attend this school, but I also want to make sure I'm not putting myself in a hole financially, since working wouldn't be 100% possible or advisable with the rigorous schedule. Seems I have alot to think about

why did you have to pay out of picket ? Loans wouldn't cover ? I'm only qualified for private loans since I used all grants and federal loans for my previous Bachelor .
