Can You Transfer From An Adn Program To A Bsn Program???

I think that in some programs you can challenge a class (or classes) that you've had before without retaking them. I believe you just have to have proof that you've taken them, that would show up on your transcript. If I have this right, I don't think you've got a bad idea here. I, personally, would definitely do that if I could challenge the classes I've taken.

hello :)

as i know most of the school do not give any credits for taking only one semester. they for sure will accept your RN ADN, but i cannot say that some subject. therefore, if you transfer you have to take regular subject for RN BSN.

If you have already completed one year of a two-year program, I would definitely stay where you are. You can have your RN in one year and be working and getting an RN salary, the other way, you have to wait an extra two years. If you had not started the ADN program, I would tell you to go the BSN route, however, take into account that they will not transfer all of your hours that you have already taken. No programs do when you transfer in the middle.......................

You can actually do a bridge program afterwards, and actually get done quicker.

I'll have to agree with Suzanne4! If you already have a semester completed of an ADN...STAY! It only makes sense. You can be making good money while finishing your BSN, which might even be paid for by your employer! :)
