Medical_surgical Nursing Clinical companion

Body fluid Electrolytes

medical Surgical Critical thinking for collaborative care clinical companion

Saunders Comprehensive review NCLEX RN

9 required texts and 7 recommended, this seems like way to many books for first semester, but i am to paranoid that i might miss something if i do not buy them all.

Now i just have to hunt down somewhere to buy them cheaper, at least some of them. the bookstore is to expensive.

There are several on-line book stores; even ebay might have what you're looking for. Personally, my preference is Amazon.com. they have used books as well.

At least at my school, the number of books and cost is greater first semester but is less in later semesters (some of the first semester books are reused).

Personally, I would not buy the recommended texts. I could barely find the time to keep up with required reading and wouldn't have even cracked the other books. Besides, if you do need to look them over, they'll be at the library, right?

I had a list of 14 required books. On the bright side, I did learn that I use them for 2 years.

I can't remember who here gave me this website, but www.bigwords.com is the absolute best. It searches all the online bookstores for the best deal. www.ecampus.com has a lot of good deals and free shipping on books over $99 and $10 off if you spend over $200 (that promo ends Aug. 15th and the code is 10t200.

Hope that is helpful.

half.com also works...ebay.com also has books and I think it was overstock.com that I bought some from too.

Another one to try:

CheapestTextbooks.com

They do a search & try to find the best price.

Good luck! I go get my list on Monday...

You're lucky it worked out for you.

I need about 29 text books and all the sites I can look for don't have them for much cheaper.

I know what you mean some i could not find some of the books for much cheaper, but even if it was $0.50 , i would rather buy it from someone else than pay the school more money. WOW 29 books i thought i had i bad. But its exciting though.
