Associates degree chamberlain or Breckenridge

I'm looking into Itt tech (Breckenridge school of nursing) and Chamberlain for the associates degree in nursing. There are many ups and downs to both schools but I want to know opinions on which would be the better school to attend. I've heard chamberlain is extremely difficult and Breckenridge is easier but I also want to be prepared to sit for the board tests in order to pass. Opinions, suggestions?

What are the "Ups" of ITT? Because there is no waiting list? The reason is because they are outrageously expensive and they are NOT ACCREDITED.

It would be very foolish to spend so much money on a program where your job opportunities and opportunities for advancing your degree/education are SEVERELY limited. Why would anyone do that?

I'd avoid both of the aforementioned schools, and instead, select a community college ADN program where you'd pay 1/10th of the tuition for a nursing education that is backed by the proper accreditation.

What commuter said. All those schools want is your money, nothing else. Go to a community college where someone actually might hire you later on.

These schools are set up to prey on you, and cater to gullible people. It really boggles my brain why people aren't as selective in their choice of schools, as they are when they go to the mall and shop. For ~$60k, you miss a waiting list and get out of school quicker, but I wouldn't trust someone who went to a for profit and got out quicker than a traditional BSN or ADN nurse with my care or my family's care. Trust me, I went to a for profit for a diploma (non-nursing) where they taught me the same thing over and over, just reworded. None of us could pass the CPC (certification for medical coders) in my class. I got a $9k piece of paper now that hasn't helped me in the least. I shudder to think of the education for profits provide to future nurses...

The only people I have seen say anything positive about these schools in my experience, are the recruiters who go online posing as students and say how great the school is. If it sounds too good to be true, run the other way and don't look back.
