You know how it is. You've applied to several nursing schools. But you really want to get accepted to your dream school. You keep checking the mailbox and your email. You've even made several calls to the admissions office. Have you done enough...or have you done too much. What have you done to make sure you've covered all the bases?

haha, that's funny.

I never was a stalker, although I called one of 2 schools I applied to - I called to confirm receipt of my application package. Lo and behold, i was denied acceptance as well as them returning my entire application package/fee.

So, I will never, ever call again. lol

I must have called a hundred times the first time I applied-and then was put on the wait list. I had heard story after story of people finding out where they "ranked" on that list, but no one would ever tell me, and I never got off it. The next time around- I wouldn't call them for ANYTHING.

I wouldn't say I stalked, but I certainly pestered the secretary of the Nursing Department :) Lots of emails, asking for confirmation of receipt of some form or other, background check, drug screen results, did I put in the right code for some required registration, etc.

She was very patient with me, lol.

LOL I am NOT calling them but I AM checking the mail to get my interview letter( I am hoping)!!! some letters already went out and their interviews are set for April 8th so I am now freaking thinking what if they aren't going to interview me. It does make me feel a little at ease as other's ( younger women) haven't recieved one either. Does that make me evil?! LOL:)

I don't think I was too big of a stalker, but I'm sure I annoyed some of the faculty members. Haha

haha I still remember when I called and email the university till the point when I have called they remembered my name and why I was calling.

Not necessarily a stalker, but I definitely keep up with the advisor for the program. She also advises on the other things required such as CNA and CPR.
