I looking for an online Microbiology Lecture.

1. Does anybody know of a great online microbiology class?

2. Does excelsior have a online microbiology course?

I'd look into whether the lecture requires a lab component for any pre-req. Most nursing school requires a lab.

the advantage of taking a course at a local school is that your state has already determined what courses transfer for credit and which will be electives. Better confirm with the school giving your final degree before you sign up for something not offered by them.

georgia military college (don't need to be military) has an online micro with lab. It's self taught for sure, but worked for me.

Calcampus.com offers an online/distance-based microbiology course with lab. I would see if your school accepts the course for transfer prior to enrolling.
