someone please help me i signed up and paid for ceu's through medceu and now i can't access them over the internet. does anyone know how i can contact them or is anyone else having the same problems. they had links on several sites and had a great deal $29 for all the ceu's you could do thru december. please help i'm broke and thought this would help greatly. thanks!!!!

finally after almost 2 weeks of being down they are saying they are down for maintenance and will be up shortly. hope its true because i need ceu's for oct. relicensure. just spoke with someone in alabama from state board of nursing they think that they are no longer an approved provider, i will keep you posted. i think i might be out here just talking to myself but thought someone might of read this.

I'm not sure what happened to them, I have heard several negative comments about their service in the past. Just based on the feedback I have heard, I would never use their services.

I also signed up with medceu at the beginning of this year for a years worth of ceus for 29.99. They charged me once in january & once again in may. They also did this same thing to my friend that I travel with (we are both travel nurses). We have both tried to contact them via e-mail for the past several months to no avail. There is no number where they can be reached listed on the website (at least not one that i have found). So I guess this was a wasted 60 bucks as I had not done any ceu's yet this year...and especially since their website is down for lord only knows how long.

Apparently their provider is a company named Net to go.

There is a phone number on their site.

Medceu also claims to be accredited through ANCC. Their web site has a telephone number also.

I hope that they weren't based in NYC. I also hope they aren't a dot.com fly by night business. My son works for one of them and hasn't been paid in weeks.

Specializes in CV-ICU.

RN relief needed, I have had good luck and fast service from both Nursing Education of America (http://www.nursingeducation.com) and also Western (or maybe Westin? I can't find their pamphlet right now). Both of these companies have home study courses as cheap as 30 contact hours for under $45, and also offer online courses. Besides my CEUs for state licensure, I need 100 CEus every 3 years for my CCRN renewal, and have used some of these companies in the past and always have been satisfied with them. They have a wide range of topics and I've always found something I'm interested in.

If you are due for relicensure in October, you need to have your CEUs done by Sept. 30th (if you live in Mn.), so get cracking and good luck!

Specializes in Vents, Telemetry, Home Care, Home infusion.

ANA has three FREE ceu courses with online certificates available at http://nursingworld.org/ce/cecatalog.cfm

Maybe that will help you.

I signed up when the cost was sixty-nine dollar and it went to twenty-nine dollars within a week. I emailed and told them my disappointment of seeing the significant change in price just after I signed on. Now I look for the free CEUs offered online.

does anybody know anything about the web site nursing matters. it looks alot like the website medceu that is being investigated as fradulent. i did call california board of nrsg and they said they are accredited thru their state, so i think maybe medceu stole info from nursing matters and was just wondering what kind of luck others have had from them. thank you
