Somebody please help me figure out what my mother is talking about.

Her MIL had something she called a 'talc treatment'. The woman has had fluid drained 'off her lungs" (I am sure she means around her lungs) and they did a 'talc treatment'. I have NO CLUE what my mother is talking about. I'm not looking for advice, just trying to figure out what it means. I must have missed it in school.

ah okay thank you!
