I'm wondering if there is a site that has all the ranges for lab values including hemodynamic, cadiac, and neuro, monitoring? Also if there is a site to down load onto a Palm? Thanks

try http://www.icufaqs.org

It is an faq site that has very large in depth downloadable faqs(MS Word format). The lab value faq is more than just ranges, it is also explanations.

Skyscape has several lab analysis programs to choose from, if you don't find one for free that you like.

I copied all the ICU FAQs onto my Palm without difficulty, but I also have the Nurse's manual of Laboratory & Diagnostic Tests on my Palm.

merck medicus has a great lab section.. it tells you what tube color to draw your blood into, what the normal values are, if it's abnormal, why it might be abnormal, and I think it might even tell you why the specific thing is important to a person. The lab section also tells you about some diagnostic tests, like CT's, MRI's, etc, if you need to know the basics about those. This is a totally free program, along with Merck Medicus, which is awesome too!
