I am feeling restless and adventurous and have decided to "look around" out there in option land. I am planning to attend a job fair next month. Please tell me does it make a positive impression to give a recruiter my resume at their booth or would that be tacky?

Yes, certainly take a copy of your resume. Remember you are out to brag on yourself, so you want all to see it. It also shows that you are prepared. They may take you more seriously, showing up with the resume in hand.

It's a job fair and they are paying for booth space so they can meet you and get your resume. Bringing a resume is definitely not tacky it's expected.

Absolutely. I landed my dream job at a career fair year. I not only handed a resume, but they had me fill out an application (so bring all those adresses and stuff)
Good luck!
