I have been a nurse since 1982.
Seems to me the nursing shortage could very easily be resolved by a few steps.
All nurses in the US band together and demand a decent salary ($50.00 per hour to start) & quarterly time off with pay plus all the usual benefits, free health, dental and disability.
Would there be a shortage then?
Until we band together nothing will change.
Thoughts?

I guess in order to do that businesses would probably double our patient load. It is a very tough answer in which I think we need to find a response..........
Terrible dilema

It will take a LOT more than money, as has been abundantly discussed on many previous threads.
