Seaworld is hiring seasonal RN's. . .for $14.75/hr. Seems a tad. . .insulting.

scary. Wonder if they even do a background check or license check. Basically I get the impression they want someone with a license to cover some statement in their Liability Insurance, and to blame if anything goes wrong.

In the job responsibilities it says you'd have to provide medical care to guests and employees (for work related and non-work related health issues). I had to laugh at that. So, you become the primary care provider for all employees as well?? LOL That's asking a lot for $15 per hour... The whole ad is laughable.
I agree with the poster that suggested that they just need someone with a license to satisfy a requirement and take the fall for any mishaps.

They can't afford to pay more than that.... they're losing to money thanks to "Blackfish" and they are probably paying buckets of cash to get their orca trainers to stay and keep them ignorant from what actually goes on in the lives of those poor whales. I would not work there in a millions years even if they offered me all the money in the world.

My base pay in FL after 5 years was 20.80$ my new grad rate was 20$. Now after 2 years in MI I've increased my pay by 50% so this doesn't surprise me :/
