What an amazing life story! Thank you so much for sharing with us! I'm 2 months into my MSN-FNP program. It's an entry level Masters program that will lead to a family nurse practitioner specialty. I come from a Communication background, so this is a huge change for me and it's a little overwhelming. You're so inspirational and congratulations on everything and the new baby!

Thank you for sharing your story Tait. This is exactly what I needed to hear to keep me pressing on, and to hope that one day I to shall see the light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes we often wonder how did I stumble upon this page, but God always know the appointed time. I am feeling broken and down just trying to get into nursing school, but a big thank you once again for you encouraging words and inspiration. Good Luck with everything and enjoy your two little bundles of joy.

Thank you for sharing your story! I'm starting nursing school after failing as a theatre major and taking a few years to "reevaluate" my life. I overloaded myself the first time I went to college, tried to balance student government with theatre and a mental breakdown...needless to say it didn't work. Now I'm 25, mom to a beautiful 3 year old girl, and working on my BSN by way of ADN. I'm proud of myself for going back, because I couldn't even handle homework the first time around. Now I'm back and I'm happy. It's so good to read your story and see your success, I wish you your success and know that I'm not the only person out there doing this as round two.
