I was told that there are some programs that you can apply for that will help pay for your student loans if you agree to work in rural areas.How do I find out about this?

Don't know where you live--but I know here in NY there is a program that will pay for up to 15,000$ if you agree to work in certain counties that are rural for 18 months or so many hours of service. Check with your states board of nursing. Good luck!!

The Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program is available and the deadline is fast approaching. Do a search on google for the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program for the information as well as the application. I just mailed mine in today! It is due (post marked) by February 25 - so hurry if you want to apply.

I am hoping they will fund it this year and help me with my loans. Good Luck!
