Oprah talked about nurses today

Oprah thanked nurses on her show today. She took all the nurses from the Chicago Pediatric Oncology unit to a spa and had them on her show.

I look at things this way...thanks to her for showing what good nurses do, but at the same time...well, we think we complain about the stereotypes of nurses from Joe Shmoe public at large that ruin our daily caregiving lives...think about a celeb that can either make us or break us on a single phrase..and it isn't like they are your average Joe either!

I always thank ones that shed some human decency on nursing...but, I do consider where it comes from too. A good thing to think about...kinda like a reference...doesn't make much if it isn't from a good source that understands!

But hey...lets go with this...a kudos to nurses! I will take it! LOL!
